Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks lays flowers Monday morning at the memorial to fallen officers at the Fourth Street site of the criminal division of the sheriff’s office.
Honoring the fallen:

¯ Frank Wilson, Beverly Police – Jan. 15, 1949.
¯ Donald O. McLaughlin, Beverly Police – Aug. 16, 1970.
¯ Ray R. Joe Clark, Washington County Sheriff’s Office – Feb. 7, 1981.
¯ Charles G. Scott Jr., Marietta Police – Jan. 26, 1989.
¯ Rodney K. Kinzy, Washington County Sheriff’s Office – April 17, 1990.
