However, it appears that Pelosi’s decision has not gone over well with lawmakers and Capitol Police officers tasked with enforcing the rules. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., ordered security officials to install magnetometers at each entrance to the House chamber after the riot. That sparked arguments between USCP officers guarding the doors as members tried to enter the chamber to vote.
