King Kiba started his music career in the early 2000’s but became regionally popular in 2008 following the release of his hit song ‘Cinderella’ which became a mega hit in East Africa. Shares Sony Music Entertainment Africa has appointed Christine Mosha, aka ‘Seven’, to lead Marketing and Artist Development for the East Africa region. Effective immediately, the appointment will see Mosha build out the company’s roster of local talent and amplify its international presence and existing catalogue across the region from her base in Tanzania. She will directly report to Sean Watson, Managing Director, Sony Music Africa. He will also be responsible with developing and maintaining positive relationships with digital service partners worldwide. During his time at Sony/ATV, Bebawi has led key digital initiatives and led the negotiation of deals with the major digital services. He has additionally focused on streamlining digital royalty processing to improve accuracy and transparency in the evolving streaming landscape.
