Retired immigration and naturalization service senior special agent, michael cutler. thank you for being here this morning. thank you for having me. jillian: can you explain how what was done over the weekend was different from what happened in 2013? in my judgment, material lit was the same. you have an out-of-control situation. you have border patrol agents that are sworn to secure our borders against unlawful entry. all that was done was a measure trto try to regain control of a violent situation. they were pelted brin by rocks d bottles. jillian: they had a couple options. the options was either retreat which would have been a disaster, or deadly force or less than lethal force. they opted for less than lethal force. if you look at the purpose of our immigration laws at our borders, it s first and foremost to protect national security and publipubpublic safety. the 9/11 commission report made ....
