Heavenly Threads donates 'jar money' to several local nonprofits

CAMDEN Heavenly Threads Thrift Shop, an outreach mission of the First Congregational Church U.C.C. of Camden, has been collecting change from customers for the last few months. The “jar money,” located at the shop’s front register, is designated for local nonprofit organizations.
Beth Gerrish, assistant manager of the shop, explained that the recently tabulated donations were sent to The Landing Place ($160), One Less Worry ($160), and the Parent Program of Mid-Coast Maine ($120). ....
