Rockland County's Holocaust Remembrance Day stays strong through COVID

For the second year in a row Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day, was commemorated virtually by the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance in Rockland County.
During the annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration at the Rockland County Courthouse, local leaders in the legal community highlighted the importance of the justice system in our democracy, and why we must never forget the Holocaust.
Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event was not going to be canceled under any circumstances, said attorney and longtime chair of the event, Paul Adler.
We felt it was important, that just as the mass says never forget, never again, that we would never forget to remind those that it would never happen again, Adler said. ....
