‘We are vaccinating Phase 1a and 1b. Phase 1b is updated to include ages 65-69 and those with the following conditions:
cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, solid organ transplant, sickle cell
disease, down syndrome, pregnancy (Pregnant women should discuss vaccination with their provider in
advance), diabetes, heart conditions, obesity (BMI over 30), immunocompromised state, severe
neurologic conditions (stroke and dementia).”

Sweetwater County to Receive Extra 975 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine This Week

ROCK SPRINGS During an informational COVID-19 meeting with public health and local elected officials, Sweetwater County Public Health Director Kim Lionberger informed the group that Sweetwater County will receive a surprise shipment of 975 doses of the Pfizer vaccine this week.
Lionbeger said the shipment is estimated to arrive Tuesday, January 12, or Wednesday, January 13.
Currently, the vaccines (including both the Moderna and Pfizer versions) are being given through appointment only to 1a and 1b categories. Memorial Hospital has asked the public not to call with questions about the vaccination and refer to online sources to see if you are in one of the current priority groups and to then call public health for an appointment. ....

Sweetwater County to Receive Total of 1,375 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine by 2021

SWEETWATER COUNTY – Sweetwater County received 975 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 Coronavirus vaccine last week, and will receive 400 doses of the Moderna vaccine this week, according to Sweetwater County public health officials.
This means Sweetwater County will receive over 1,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of the year.
Those receiving immunization first is the 1A group, which includes hospital staff, emergency medical services (EMS) providers, fire personnel, law enforcement, healthcare workers who are taking or handling COVID-19 samples, behavioral healthcare providers, dental and medical care providers, community nursing employees, home healthcare providers, school nurses, pharmacy staff, longterm care staff and residents, Able Hands and Life Skills staff and individuals receiving the services. ....
