New Hampshire State Police
A 20-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested Sunday after New Hampshire State Police caught him driving well over the posted speed limit.
Christopher Fren, of Franklin, was clocked driving 142 miles per hour around 8 p.m. along Route 16 in Rochester, state police said. Download our mobile app for iOS or Android to get alerts for local breaking news and weather.
Troopers stopped the vehicle in the area of the Rochester Toll Plaza, where Fren was arrested and his vehicle was towed.

St. Cyril of Alexandria Roman Catholic Church in East Lansdowne, founded in 1928, will officially close in January. St. Cyril merged with St. Philomena Parish, Lansdowne, in 2013, and St. Cyril Church then became a worship site of the newly formed parish. The church building needs a new slate roof and has other debts that were factors influencing the decision to close it.Â
