At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 27, the library will host Donna Passmore, co-author of “Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route and the Franco-American Alliance,” in a Zoom event that will discuss Connecticut’s first National Historic Trail covering 120 miles throughout the state. The route was utilized in the largest allied troop movement in the Revolutionary War. The Washington-Rochambeau march was a pivotal point in American history as thousands of French soldiers and sailors joined the battle.
