Sarasota County Area Transit bus driver tests positive for COVID-19 In a news release, SCAT said that it identified that the unnamed driver operated Route 12 last Tuesday from 1:45 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. and Route 2 on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The driver received a positive COVID-19 test result on Friday. The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota recommends that anyone who rode these routes Tuesday through Thursday to monitor themselves for possible COVID-19 symptoms. According to the Centers for Disease Control, people with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Those may include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache or a new loss of taste or smell. ....
