WILLMAR The Willmar City Council, in its discussion over the four finalists for the city administrator position on Thursday, were divided between going with a candidate with city management experience or going with someone with little city experience but proven leadership skills.
Willmar City Council members interviewed the four final candidates for the city administrator position. The council will meet on Thursday to choose which of those candidates will move forward to a second, in-person interview.

The Willmar City Council interviewed four candidates for the open city administrator position on Tuesday.
WILLMAR Using the remote meeting program GoTo Meeting, the Willmar City Council on Tuesday remotely interviewed the four final candidates for the city administrator position coming open in June.
The finalists are Tyler Brooks of South Daytona, Florida, most recently employed as an operations commander for the United States Air Force; Guy Scaife, of Bettendorf, Iowa, most recently the town manager of Thetford, Vermont; Dana L. Schoening of Wichita Falls, Texas, currently the director of planning and operations for Sweetwater, Texas; and Robert J. Wolfingto

WILLMAR The Willmar City Council will be interviewing four candidates next week for the open city administrator position. The council, in a special meeting on Monday, initially picked five finalists out of 15 applicants. However, one of the finalists removed their name from contention.
