The Central Texas Food Bank will distribute free food using its mobile food pantries to help those who are facing increased food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Del Valle High School, 5201 Ross Road; and Wednesday at Nelson Field, 7105 Berkman Drive, in Northeast Austin.
Attendees will receive an assortment of food items that will vary, depending on supplies.
The food distribution is primarily designed as a drive-thru event, though no one in need will be turned away.
