Domestic assault call leads to standoff in rural Kandiyohi
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff s Office took a man into custody Sunday after a standoff of several hours in rural Kandiyohi. No one was injured.

GREEN LAKE TOWNSHIP The Kandiyohi County Sheriff s Office responded to a report of physical domestic assault which resulted in a standoff with a 35-year-old man from Kandiyohi.
According to the news release from Sheriff s Sgt. Robbie Braness, deputies answered the call at 2:46 a.m. Sunday at a rural Kandiyohi residence located on the 5000 block of 120th Street Northeast in Green Lake Township. When law enforcement arrived, officers believed the suspect was in the residence with a weapon.
