The agreement builds on the strong partnership between the two companies in recent years
Vodafone and CityFibre have extended their partnership to include the operator’s ethernet services for its business customers.
The two parties have worked together since 2017, with Vodafone UK currently using CityFibre’s FTTP (fibre-to-the-premises) infrastructure to rollout its full-fibre broadband service.
As part of the partnership expansion, Vodafone will use CityFibre’s ethernet infrastructure to offer more local access options than before.
The service which delivers improved bandwidth and lower latency will be available in 12 UK towns and cities.
These locations include Cambridge, Coventry and Peterborough, with Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Portsmouth and Southend-on-Sea to follow.
