Two Car Collision Closes Southbound Dual Carriageway

Officers were called to the incident shortly before 8pm.
No major injuries were reported, although one person has been conveyed to hospital by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service as a precautionary measure.
Motorists heading towards Newport from St Mary’s Junction need to take Hunnyhill or Riverway Industrial Estate as there is no access to the Southbound carriageway.
 
Crews from Island Roads are in the process of cleaning the remnants of an oil and fuel spill from one of the vehicles involved. ....
