Date Time Property crime and stolen vehicle incidents at Townsville Four people are in custody following multiple incidents involving allegedly stolen vehicles driving dangerous across Townsville today. One man, a teenage girl and two teenage boys have been arrested and are assisting police. Around 5.30am, a blue Ford sedan was stolen from a house in Sharon Crescent, Kelso. It will be further alleged owner of the vehicle followed the blue Ford in a second vehicle, and the two vehicles collided on Riverway Drive at Condon. It is also be alleged a stolen white Toyota Landcruiser deliberately travelled towards a motorist, who stopped to assist the occupants of the blue Ford sedan. ....
Date Time Traffic, drug and stealing charges at Townsville Police have charged a man with 27 traffic, drug and stealing offences after he failed to stop for police this afternoon in Townsville. It will be alleged at 4.40pm police were travelling on Hammond Way at Kelso when they observed a white Holden Commodore with stolen registration plates attached. Police activated emergency lights and siren however the vehicle accelerated away. A tyre deflation device was successfully deployed a short time later on Kelso Drive. The vehicle turned onto Riverway Drive and came to complete stop near Maud street after the vehicle could not be driven any further due to the extensive damage to the rims. ....
