in custody in connection with a deadly shooting inside a metro garage. reporter: well, barbara montgomery county detectives have been working on this case all night and now they have reached enough evidence that they can call two persons of interest suspects. it was about 7:00 p.m. yesterday when police were called to this garage in wheaton with a report of a shooting. inside they found an adult male had been shot multiple time and a short time later two persons of interest were taken into custody. now at the height of the investigation here parts of georgia avenue were closed. the garage was closed because of evidence collection and the early parts of the investigation. since then, they have now said that those two persons of interest are suspects. what we don t know at this hour is still a motive or the identity of the victim or the identity of the suspects and, of course this is the second crime-related fatality on metro this month. back on fourth of july there was a man
lorex hi-def cameras being installed in the maximum security area of the santa clara county main jail. those cameras captured a jailhouse fight involving as many as 30 inmates forcing the jail to go on lockdown. one inmate brushed up against another and the fight was on with fists. reporter: here s a closer look at what happened. you see this inmate sitting on the chair jump up and start attacking another inmate in an orange shirt. you can see a lot of fistfighting going on in the videos. and the inmates are spread throughout the pod. reporter: then several others join in before deputies get inside with pepper spray and you see some inmates fall to the ground. it just shows how important cameras are. reporter: santa clara county sheriff laurie smith said no weapons were used in the fight. hazmat was called out to clean out the pepper spray. the sheriff bought the cameras at a santa clara costco with her own money. investigators working to figure out why this fight
3 3 3 3 a developing story in south tampa this morning. police are investigating a deadly shooting. 3 it started just before eight last night at the gardens at southbay apartments. that s in the 67 hundred block of south lois avenue. police say there was a fight at the apartments that carried over to this scene, on south quincy street. that s expected to recover. officers are not naming anyone yet... and no arrests have been made. fox 13 s shayla reaves is covering the story for us. she ll bring us a live update, in our next half hour. 3 an update now, on padi the dog. he was the dog saved from being euthanized last summer, after biting a child s ear. and now. a woman claims padi has bitten again. this time. a service dog in training. 3 according to the caregiver, the puppy approached padi .. the puppy was left with several scrapes on its nose. padi s owner claims the puppy was growling. and padi quote nipped his nose. fox 13 s crystal clark just spoke to the woman caring
