The Wheatfield Garden Club has an annual tradition of decorating the Community Center s Christmas tree in anticipation of the annual Christmas party put on by the town s Recreation Department. This year s event will be held from 5:45-8 p.m. Dec. 2.
The 43rd annual Wheatfield Family Picnic this Sunday, Aug. 6, at Fairmount Park is considered by the organizer as the highlight of the summer for the town.
The Wheatfield Veterans Memorial was the gathering spot on Saturday for veterans and families to educate, reflect, share stories, express gratitude and enjoy camaraderie.
The Wheatfield Garden Club invites the community to its upcoming membership drive and plant-sharing event. A program will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at the Wheatfield Community and Senior Center, 2790 Church Road.
