The Allahabad High Court has acquitted Surendra Koli in 12 cases and Maninder Singh Pandher in 12 cases connected with the Nithari Killings, for which they were earlier awarded the death penalty by the trial court
The accused, notably Koli, were accused of enticing children into his residence in Nithari and then committing their murders, along with additional allegations of cannibalism.
The accused in the infamous Nithari serial murders case were acquitted on Monday by the Allahabad High Court citing a lack of evidence. The accused Maninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Surender Koli were earlier facing charges in 19 cases registered by CBI, including rape and murder.
