CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga - Some PHP1.7 million worth of shabu were seized from three drug peddlers in a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City, this province on Friday. In a police report, Col. Robin K. Sarmiento, acting provincial director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office, identified the arrested suspects as Alvin Cortez, 44;Rosalinda Dizon, 31; and Orlando Cortez, 54, all residents of Xevera Subdivision, Mabalacat City. Sarmiento said seized from the three were one transparent plastic bag and one knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing 250 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board-estimated value of PHP1.7 million, buy-bust money, a Toyota Vios, and other pieces of evidence.
