By Herbie Newall Humshaugh came together last Wednesday to celebrate the life of Jodi Walsham. Those unable to attend St Peter’s due to Covid restrictions joined online to remember a much-loved young woman who now rests forever in the heart of our village. A wonderful tribute bravely given by Jayne recalled a talented and caring daughter who achieved so much and touched so many in her short life. Jodi’s love of travel took her round the world, and wherever she went her free and lively spirit made her a ray of sunshine and a friend to many. Jayne’s words were echoed in a moving eulogy by John McCollum, who reflected how Jodi’s theatrical talents, first seen at school and theatre group, led her to study at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, before going on to set up a theatre company for young Liverpudlians.
