I wanted to thank the wonderful community of Ridgefield. My family has recently been having some tough times and so many generous people have come forward to help us, especially during the holidays.
I especially want to thank Nick Perna, on behalf of the Sister Joan Fund, the anonymous donor who bought my family a Christmas tree and wreath from Tubby Tim’s Tree Farm (thank you Tim and Mary Dent), the other anonymous donor who offered us a tree too, Fernando Luis and Mark Giglio of the Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association, for giving my youngest son the exciting opportunity to get picked up in a police car and go to the Toy Chest to Shop with a Cop.
