06:11 EDT, 13 May 2021 Four men accused of assaulting a spectator in a feeding frenzy at a junior rugby league game in south-east Queensland have appeared in court. The men - aged between 19 and 36 - are each charged with assaulting a man, 35, who was left with serious facial injuries during the brawl. The alleged attack occurred during an under-13 rugby league game at the sports ground at Wynnum, south-east of Brisbane, about 11.30am on Mother s Day. Talapuse Tuialii (left), 36, and his 19-year-old brother Griffith Lilomaiava (right) both faced court over the alleged brawl Three of the men also face charges of assault occasioning bodily harm while in company.

Mr Jones reportedly suffered two broken eye sockets, a fractured cheekbone and a broken nose on Sunday during a match between Wynnum and Logan Brothers after two men allegedly assaulted him, including by kicking him in the face when on the ground. The two men, both from Crestmead, Griffith Lolamaiava, 19, and Talapuse Tuialii, 36, will front Cleveland Magistrates Court today charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
