At Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe, earning a spot in the Century and Millennial clubs is no small feat.
Although not officially sanctioned by the resort, a group of avid skiers keeps track of who logs at least 100 days on the mountain each season (the Century Club) and who gets in at least 1,000 runs (the Millennial Club).
“It’s a friendly competition,” said Millenial Club founder Tim Howsley. He logged 135 days at Mt. Rose and is eking out the last few days of the season at Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. “It’s just so much fun skiing with all these guys. We all get together and we all look forward to seeing each other at 8:30 in the morning.”
