This weekend, a black-tie fundraiser gala for the Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals raised $729,688 for the organizations "Cinderella" fund, the not-for-profit said on Sunday. The fund pays for medical treatment for stray dogs and cats housed at the SPCA.
