The developer behind the transformation of the former Laurel Park Shopping Center at Hungary and Woodman roads is now turning its attention to a 1-acre site next to Willow Lawn.
The 6-acre plot at 4400 W. Broad St. that's twice been eyed for large apartment projects by out-of-town developers was once again listed for sale last week.
The pending deal was confirmed this week by Mark Motley, whose businesses own the nearly 6-acre parcel and recently picked up a warehouse at a Southside industrial park.
A few hundred more apartments are back on the menu for a long-vacant site in the Westwood area. The site is under contract to be sold to a mystery developer planning an apartment complex.
