The company’s role in NASA’s space efforts is covered in a new, three-part documentary “The Collins Story: Connecting The Moon To Earth.” The documentary highlights early technology pioneers in Richardson who helped develop the Collins Radio Company space communication systems. ....

You can now check out a laptop in the Richardson library A total of 30 laptops are available to be used anywhere in the library. The Richardson Public Library now has 30 laptops that can be checked out for up to an hour at a time and used within the building.(Elise Amendola / AP) The Richardson Public Library has installed a new laptop kiosk that allows people to check out a laptop for added convenience and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Located on the second floor, the kiosk allows people to check out a laptop and use it anywhere in the library for up to one hour per day, the city stated in an announcement. More wireless access points have also been added to increase the wi-fi signal throughout the library. ....
