Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a nonprofit public health institute that creates and sustains healthier communities, has opened the PHMC Health Center on Cedar, a federally qualified health center (FQHC) located inside the PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar at 54th Street and Cedar Avenue in West Philadelphia.
MIT professors Leonid Mirny, Davesh Maulik, Aram Harrow, Virginia Vassilevska Williams, and Vinod Vaikuntanathan have been selected to receive the 2023 Simons Investigator Awards from the Simons Foundation in support of their work on fundamental theoretical questions of math, physics, and computer science.
Physician, scientist, and professor Richard J. Cohen has made influential contributions to the Harvard-MIT Program in Health Sciences and Technology since it began 50 years ago. He will transition to emeritus status in March.
