She became the inaugural director of the program in africanAmerican History. They should have called you the founding director. Thats the moe joouft as we say around here. Her first book, a fragile freedom, africanamerican women and emancipation in the antebellum city, published by yale, an under studied topic up to that point. What were hoping to do is to be able to raise money for the church, to be able to bring it back to its original glory, and also to be able to do it quickly. Lydia branston is the executive director of the gubbio project and she says quickly is the key. So that were not in a position where were having to wait a long time to do the construction mission, or that the construction takes a really long time, so it disrupts services. So thats thats the goal and the community is showing up. This is a very tight knit community in this part of the mission. Weve been through a lot over the last few years. We take care of each other. Im there at the hair Taj Foundation and in house historian they let me write books about reagan, cold water, buckley, ed if you willer in, you know you name it i probably written a book about him. Why are you a conservative . Im a conservative because i believe in freedom thats one of the reasons why im here at freedom test. I libertarian have got it right when it comes to the economic issues. Theyre not so terribly good when it comes to social issues which is why im a conservative and not a libertarian. You have another book coming out this fall as well. What is that .
