Many are saying they’re excited.
Governor John Carney announced starting May 21st all capacity restrictions inside restaurants, retail, other business establishments, and houses of worship will be lifted.
Social distancing requirements will move from six feet to three feet.
Crooked Hammock Brewery in Rehoboth Beach said with these new changes they feel the state is moving in the right direction.
“I think the Governor making these declarations just gives people permission to feel like it’s okay to do what they’ve wanted to, for what is weeks, I think,” Rich Garrahan, Owner of the Crooked Hammock Brewery, said. “So in the past tables were always three feet apart, so it’s essentially getting our dining rooms back to similar organization as they were prior to COVID.”
