Emmanuel Manny Torres will be forever loved and never forgotten, his grandmother, Trecie Moore, said recently on her Facebook page. Manny was shot to death at age 16 on April 15, becoming the second member of his family to die by homicide in the past 10 months. Manny s uncle, Ricardo J. Rodriguez, died at age 20 last June in a traffic crash, which was also declared a homicide. The alleged driver in that crash goes to trial next month. But no arrests have been made in this month s shooting death, and the family wants justice for Manny, said Trista Jasso, who was Manny s aunt and Ricardo s sister.
