Recovery following hurricane maria in 2017. joining me now is the governor of puerto rico, ricardo rosayo. governor, good to see you again. thank you for being with us. thank you for the opportunity. what s your thoughts? this bill is finally going through and the efforts you have in puerto rico to seeming to have to justify the fact you should be getting federal aid. this bill took a long time. we ve been fighting for a bill of this nature for about six months. unfortunately, in the early get-go, there was talk about not getting one more cent to puerto rico. luckily reason prevailed, and we had a bipartisan bill, and i want to thank all of those that supported and pushed forward this bill. you know, leader schumer, speaker pelosi, leahy, our resident commissioner dennis gonzalez, among others, were critical so we could get this bill. now we re just awaiting that bill to be signed by the president so we can get very important resources to puerto rico to rebuild, number one. ....
