Youll see the sharp contrast between them for yourself in just a moment. For biden, the format was familiar territory, to talk policy, although sometimes he avoided straight answers. When the event was over, he stayed to talk with voters off camera, and in contrast, that with the president , President Trump was much more combative, his responses to pointed questions about the pandemic, white supremacy, conspiracy theories and other issues were largely defensive and peppered with falsehoods. They referred me to a cdc study of people who had coronavirus, a High Percentage of them claimed that they had worn masks, but thats not the fact of the matter in terms of how they got the virus. More than 40 of those individuals had also had close contact with somebody who had covid, mostly family members. A great number of them had eaten at restaurants. The report was trying to find out how these people who claim they wore masks got the virus. But President Trump continues to misrepresent facts instead of facing the reality. The president also now dismissing dr. Anthony fauci as a, quote, democrat. Everybody knows that. Thats not true. Theres no evidence that fauci is a democrat. Hes not registered as one. He has served in his position since 1984 under republican and democratic
