Police caution 37-year-old woman after incident of sheep worrying in Pendle Police seeking to identify two people after an incident of sheep worrying have now interviewed and cautioned a 37-year-old woman. On Wednesday, officers from the Ribble Valley rural task force issued an appeal to find two women following the incident, which happened on Tuesday in Trawden. After several enquiries, police were able to identify the woman, from Colne, and issued her with a caution for being the owner of a dog which worried livestock on agricultural land. A spokesperson for the police said: Following on from yesterday s investigation into a dog worrying livestock in the Trawden area, officers from the Ribble Valley Rural Task Force have interviewed a 37-year-old female from Colne.
Large amount of cash and drugs found following raid Police found a large amount of cash and drugs paraphernalia after a raid in Clitheroe this morning. Officers from the Ribble Valley Rural Task Force and Clitheroe neighbourhood executed the drugs warrant on Kay Street and arrested a 29-year-old male. A Police spokesperson said: “We won t tolerate drug dealing within our rural areas and will continue to work with our neighbourhood colleagues to eradicate these problems and bring those who spread misery in our towns and villages to justice.”
