A new netwrok of buses has been launched covering Burnley, Pendle and the Ribble Valley. Tuesday, 4th May 2021, 3:45 pm Transdev’s new buses will form part of a £2.4m. total investment by the bus firm in its Lancashire network. The new buses will carry the brand name ‘Ribble Country’. Transdev chief executive Alex Hornby said: “As part of our new multi-year partnership with Lancashire County Council, we’re delighted to launch our new Ribble Country network, which will transform bus services right across the Ribble Valley and support the area’s economy as we follow the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown. ....
Launch: Transdev CEO Alex Hornby and staff with Lancashire County Council s Andrew Varley and the new buses A NEW bus network launches across Lancashire from this Sunday. The Ribble Country network, delivered by Transdev in partnership with Lancashire County Council, will run on routes between Clitheroe, Burnley, Padiham, Sabden, Whalley, Nelson and Colne. Many of these routes will run for seven days a week and at more frequent times than previous networks.
