NORTH SMITHFIELD – After a long year for students and staff and a joyful return to four days a week of in-person classes in the spring, Meghan Stevens and Ethan Kmiecik have emerged as the top students for the North Smithfield High School Class of 2021.
Stevens, the daughter of Anthony and Kelley Stevens, has been named valedictorian. She plans to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute and pursue a degree in chemical engineering in the fall.
Kmiecik, the son of Kris and Monika Kmiecik, has been named salutatorian. He plans to attend Bryant University and study business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship in the fall.
