Our Vibrant Community spreads positive messages in chalk art

By Grace Houdek May 9, 2021 | 4:46 PM MADISON, Wis. Our Vibrant Community hosted a chalk positivity event near the north side on Sunday to spread happy messages for people to see. The organization is working with volunteers to create chalk art and positive messages along Sherman Avenue and Northport Drive. “This is a challenging time for our mental health with just so many unknowns and uncertainties and then also added onto that the social isolation,” said Our Vibrant Community founder Rhiannon Gurley. “It can be hard to find the good in every day, little surprise moments as messages on our walks can change our mood for the better.”
