Nestled in the heart of Bootle is a side street which appears to be normal enough at first glance but in fact has a bleak, often forgotten history.
Surrey Street, off Hawthorne Road has a chippy and a pub around the corner, making it seem almost like any other typical street.
But the truth is that Surrey Street is now a cul-de-sac for a bleak reason, with many locals unaware of its place in history. ....
