Hamilton Zoo's oldest male giraffe, Ndoki, dies aged 22

Renovations including a new trainer, a huge metal stall, and a new fence are being built in the giraffe enclosure at Wellington Zoo, to help keepers handle the giraffes and better visitor close encounters .
“He was a firm favourite of our staff.
“Renowned for his gentle and docile personality, Ndoki steered clear of any drama or group politics between the other boys,” the post said.
