Bandcamp / Buy Maya Bouldry-Morrison has spent most of the past two years holed up in her New Hampshire log cabin, exploring the ritualistic nature of club musicâthe way it can lift you into heightened states of being, for example, or serve as an equalizer on a sweaty dancefloor. During that time, the DJ and producer, known as Octo Octa, released several projects born from her own spiritual experiences, some of which were more liberating than others. Octo Octa will release new EP She s Calling on February 5th. The producer s plans were ripped up in 2020, forcing her to cancel her touring schedule and return to the United States. The energy of this period is channelled in new song Find Your Way Home , the lead in to her incoming EP.
