Winners of the 2020 Holiday Lighting Contest announced

By Jennifer Green The Pagosa Springs area has been bright with holiday cheer this season.  The Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board, The Pagosa Springs SUN and La Plata Electric Association are pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 holiday lighting contest. We want to thank all of the participants; everyone did an amazing job and our judges had an extremely difficult time choosing. The winners of the Business Lighting Contest are the following: First place, Neon Mallard; second place, Four Corners Hydroponics; and third place, Two Old Crows. The winners of the Residential Lighting Contest: First place, Lewis residence, 240 Paciente Place; second place, Bush residence, 601 Stevens Circle; and third place, Losee residence, 732 Cloud Cap Avenue.

Promote Payette presents city-wide residential lighting contest

Cash prizes are being offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. To enter, message photos of your entry to the Promote Payette Facebook page at https://facebook.com/promotepayetteidaho and be sure to include your address. The deadline for entries is Friday, Dec. 18 at midnight. Entries will be posted on the Facebook page on Saturday, Dec. 19, with voting to take place through Dec. 22 at midnight. Only votes cast on the page will be counted.
