Paramedics could not revive the boy and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police questioned hughes who was babysitting at the time and in the course of the interview detectives determined the drowning was not accidental. There were high wind advisories issued and from what we feel right now, things calmed down quite a bit and the cleanup is well under way. Trees were toppled, power lines down and debris across the roadway. In antioch, Mother Nature hit this home hard. I heard a loud noise and i thought the house was falling, so i ran out of the house. Reporter she thought it was an earthquake but instead, a tree pierced into the roof on sunday evening. It was pretty scary. I didnt know what to do and who to call and my mom told me to call 911. Reporter her sisters boyfriend was in the room with her 1. 5yearold nephew. A quick jump saved her life. He was sitting down on the edge and kind of got up and thats when the tree scrapped. That family lives in a home behind me. They have quite a bit of cleaning up to do after this. Take a look for yourself. The winds were so strong knocked this tree branch straight through this persons home over the weekend. The sharp branches broke through the roof, stopping inches from the bed. The homeowner was hurt, taken to a local hospital. Theres still no word on his condition. Now know that the winds are expected to continue, linger on throughout the day.
