Police say man stole from, threatened neighbor at Fort Myers condos Published: January 28, 2021 8:08 PM EST Updated: January 29, 2021 12:54 PM EST Recommended Fort Myers Police Department responded to The Residence Condominiums in Fort Myers Thursday night, where police say a man stole something from a neighbor and threatened them with a sharp object. Our crew was at the scene of the response at the condo complex on Solomon Boulevard, where officers set up yellow crime scene tape near complex buildings. Police says Michael James Finnerty, 44, went to his home at the complex after robbing his neighbor and then went out to officers on his own as a SWAT vehicle arrived at the scene. ....

Detectives believe the group was part of the 1Way gang, who often feuded with the Bottom Boys gang, according to the arrest affidavit. Investigators think the five members of the group targeted the Teen Beach Party to specifically shoot members of the Bottom Boys gang.
