SINGAPORE, July 12 A 19-year-old teenager who allegedly jumped into an enclosure at the Singapore Zoo and posted a TikTok video of a backflip there was on Monday (July 12) charged with criminal trespass.
Ralph Wee Yi Kai faces one count of criminal trespass as well as three unrelated charges of mischief and vandalism. ....

Singapore Zoo has announced the birth of an adorable lion cub, the first in the country to be born following artificial insemination. The zoo has named the animal Simba, Swahili for lion , and fitting for the son of a lion called Mufasa.
The cub appears healthy and happy following assisted feeding from his keepers. Three months after its birth, he has now moved on to solid foods, and enjoys playing with his ball and other enrichment tools. Like his namesake in the film The Lion King, he is working on his roar. ....

To mark its 50th anniversary on Jan 3, the Jurong Bird Park will lower its admission prices and feature pioneer birds in special shows.
Throughout January, tickets will be priced at $2.50 for local residents - the admission price when the park opened in 1971.
Tickets usually cost $32 for adults, $21 for children from three to 12 years old, and $15 for senior citizens aged at least 60. ....
