To be a strong general election candidate. you but he is thinking about the general election. i talked to him yesterday and he was talking about how he envisioned things in 2012. it he is counting on being a nominee it seems. he has flaws. all sift people have flaws as candidates. unless he says something disqualifying for the republican elector, i think he is a heavy player in the nomination flight even if he is not the most likely nominee or a strong candidate i don t know. here is my thinking. i think there is the western conference of tea party type people. i think they are in trouble to find a candidate now. there is pawlenty and certainly mitt romney. and mitt romney i mean newt gingrich running is the nixon of 68 now in the year 2012. running as somebody who is not particularly likeable. doesn t have a good record, in fact has a bad record. but can somehow in a politically brilliant way bridge the gap ....
