Stuff gets NZ On Air funding for environmental, opera and pandemic reporting

Unruly would give Kiwis “full behind-the-scenes access” to NZ Opera. StuffMe Too editor and columnist Alison Mau was fronting the six-part series, which received $142,000 in funding. “This production is a big gamble for NZ Opera, and it s that controversy - innovation vs tradition - that makes it so interesting to follow,” Crewdson said. The “unruly family” made global headlines in January 2019, as they gallivanted across the country – leaving behind rubbish and coming to the attention of police. LAWRENCE SMITH Alison Mau will host a new show following NZ Opera’s production about the infamous “unruly family”. They had been causing trouble since early December, but caught New Zealand s attention when video surfaced of them trashing an Auckland beach.
