Show Transcript Senator John Thune, the South Dakota representative and number two Senate Republican, says attempts by the GOP to overturn the 2020 election is an endeavor that is, quote not going anywhere. He s been a public opponent of Mo Brooks, the Alabama lawmaker who has been leading efforts to go against the votes of the American people and block the Biden presidency with soon telling the media quote, I mean, in the Senate, it would go down like a shot dog. I just don t think it makes a lot of sense to put everybody through this when you know what the ultimate outcome is going to be. Though that doesn t seem to be stopping many Republicans. House conservatives met with both leaders of the executive branch of the White House recently, allegedly
