A Lititz man who was killed in a roll-over crash in Warwick Township in April had a blood alcohol level that was eight and a half times above the legal limit at the time, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.
Renny Joel Kline, 21, had a BAC of 0.68% when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve on Highlands Drive near the Breezy Knoll apartment complex, south of Lititz, at 1:04 a.m. on April 17, police said in a news release. The legal limit of alcohol in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Klineâs vehicle left the road and rolled several times before it came to a rest on its roof against a gazebo, police said.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. A 21-year-old Lititz man who died in a single-vehicle crash on April 17 had a blood alcohol level that was 8.5 times higher than the legal limit at the time of the incident, according to forensic evidence released Monday by Northern Lancaster County Regional Police.

Fatal crash closed roads in Warwick Township for 3 hours Share Updated: 11:07 AM EDT Apr 17, 2021 One person is dead and another injured following a crash in Lancaster County.The crash occurred just after 1 a.m. Saturday, on Highlands Drive near the Breezy Knoll apartment complex.Police say a vehicle was traveling north on Highlands Drive when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over.They say the driver, 21-year-old Renny Joel Kline died and a passenger was taken to the hospital.According to investigators, both speed and consumption of alcohol are suspected to have been factors in the crash.Emergency dispatchers say roads in the area were closed for three hours.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
