Robert F. Clifford
BETHLEHEM – Robert Francis Clifford, 76, passed away peacefully at the Shady Knoll Health Center, Seymour, May 11, 2021.
Bob was born in Waterbury, July 7, 1944, son of William J. Clifford and Catherine (Norris) Clifford. In 1949 the family moved to Bethlehem, where he spent his formative years.
In 1961, Bob enlisted in the Navy and served aboard the USS Enterprise during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. Before his retirement, Bob was an auto parts salesman for 45-plus years and was known fondly as “Napa Bob” or “Cliffy.”
Bob loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending more than 25 years with his many friends hunting and fishing in New Hampshire. He was also an avid gardener and loved to share his vegetables with friends and family.
