PONTIAC – A man involved in an incident that occurred on Streator’s southside has been identified. 26-year-old Rene Dominic Lipumano Ramos is deceased as a result of a shooting near the area of 14th Street and Park at 2 p.m. on Friday. According to The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, they anticipate further information to be released in the days ahead. Authorities say multiple people were involved. Investigation continues into South Streator shooting incident that left one dead

The sheriff s office identified the victim as 26-year-old Rene Dominic Lipumano Ramos.
Sheriff Tony Childress says his office was notified of multiple victims of a shooting at around 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 in the area of 14th Street and Park in Streator.
The scene was secured after the arrival of authorities, according to the LCSO s press release.
More information surrounding the shooting is anticipated to be released in the days ahead, according to the press release.
Assisting in the investigation are the Illinois State Police Crime Scene, Livingston County Coroner s Office and the Livingston County State s Attorney s Office.
